The makers of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ have announced a special discount on the film’s ticket rates. Announcing that Friday will be celebrated as ‘Pathaan Day’, the makers have decided to keep a flat rate for all tickets.
“PathaanDay incoming! 💥 #Pathaan crosses 500 crores NBOC. Come celebrate with us this Friday. Book tickets at ₹ 110/- flat across all shows in India,” announced the makers on social media. Major theatres across the country will adopt this flat rate. The film has scored Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office, in all language, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Commenting on the mammoth success of ‘Pathaan’, director Sidharth Anand had told ETimes, “Honestly, it’s a little surreal. I’ve just been happy to be just a part of the industry and to be able to make films, because I don’t know anything else. And now you’re being credited with so much more, you know, like bringing cinemas back, single screens back, bringing box office back, audiences back… So I really don’t know how to react to all these all these tags. I’m just happy that I have my next job in place. And I can continue making films.”
