Speaking about the movie Himanshi says, “I am doing a female-centric rom-com Punjabi movie, ‘Fatto De Yaar Bade Ne,’ which is produced by one of the most well-known productions in Punjab. We have shot scenes of the movie in Romania. This movie also stars Inder Chahal.”
We have seen a lot of regional stars dreaming to make it big in Bollywood. However, Himanshi says she wishes to stay in Pollywood and make a difference. She quotes, “in my thoughts, doing a Punjabi film holds similar importance to doing a film in Bollywood. I feel a regional film also needs to reach the masses as most of the time the content of the film is absolutely amazing but unfortunately, it is not able to reach the mass audience”.
“South films are reaching the masses and I am so happy about it. In the same way, I want Punjabi films to reach there. I have got offers from Bollywood, but before taking up any Bollywood project, I want to make a difference in the Punjabi industry and make it reach heights. The films made here are really good, people will love the content, and if the content is good, it should be appreciated all over India is what I feel,” adds the actress.
Meanwhile, the actress completed the movie’s shoot in Romania, and the release date of ‘Fatto De Yaar Bade Ne’ will be announced soon.
