Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ release delayed because of his personal issues: Report | Hindi Movie News

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been hitting headlines for his feud with wife Aaliya Siddiqui. ETimes had reported how the actor was staying at a hotel while his wife Aaliya alleged that Nawaz’s family was ill treating her at the actor’s palatial Andheri bungalow.
And looks like these personal troubles have affected the actor’s professional life too. Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ was scheduled to release on an OTT platform this year. And according to Bollywoodhungama, the streaming giant who is going to showcase the film, has decided to postpone the release date and the film has been put on the back burner. Since Nawaz is currently in a controversial situation, the OTT platform reportedly wants to avoid bad press which can affect the film negatively, which is why the release of ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ has been postponed. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same. Directed by Sai Kabir, ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ features Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.

Previously, Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya had stated in a social media post, “I regret giving my 18 years to a man who has absolutely no value of me in his eyes. We got married in the year 2010 and post 1 year I delivered a child. Also, I sold my flat given by my mother for delivery purposes and even gifted him a car (Skoda Fabia) from the same money so that he would not have to travel by bus which he used to. And now after so many years, he completely changed and became inhuman. This man was never a great human being. He always disrespected his ex-gf’s, his ex-wife and now disrespecting me and targeting his kids as well.”
